Doing fall home clean-outs? Mark your calendars for the 2024 Faculty/Staff Toy and Coat Swap!

Join us for a community event of giving and sharing at our Toy and Coat Swap on November 8 from 11 AM to 5 PM in Benson 401. It’s a perfect opportunity to refresh your family’s winter wardrobe and find new fun for your little ones.

Hosted by the Parent and Caregiver Affinity Resource Group, the Women’s Center, and the Office of the Chaplain, this swap aims to bring people together in the spirit of generosity and sustainability, working in conjunction with the Chaplain’s Emergency Fund to ensure financial assistance can be provided for essential expenses. Bring your gently used toys and coats to exchange them for something new-to-you, all while supporting our community.

How it Works:

  • Drop-off: You can drop off your items on November 7 (details TBD), making it easy for you to contribute to the swap without the need to stay for the event itself. Please ensure all items are clean and in good condition.
  • Come to the swap: On November 8, come by Benson 401 between 11 AM and 5 PM. You’ll have the chance to browse a variety of toys and coats, and take home what you need.
  • Give to or apply to the Chaplain’s Emergency Fund: Contact Christine Yucha or learn more at the swap!

This swap is a fantastic way to declutter your home, and give back and ensure that everyone has access to warm coats and fun toys this season.

We look forward to seeing you there! All interested WFU and contract employees are welcome!
