Rachel Berry

I grew up here in the Triad and went to school at UNC. After graduation, I spent a year studying in China where I met many great friends. During this time, I also discovered the unique challenges and joys international students face. Upon my return to the US, I worked with international students as staff with Bridges International in Los Angeles. Now, I am back in the Triad and work in the Transfusion Medicine Laboratory at WFBH. When I am not hanging out on campus, I like to take care of my garden, try out new recipes for my friends and family, and spend as much time outside as I can. This year, I look forward to welcoming internationals by finding new things to do in Winston-Salem together, connecting students with other Americans, improving my Mandarin Chinese, and having many meals and conversations together!
