Anna Waters

Anna grew up in North Carolina, graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill, then spent a summer teaching English to college students in Beijing, China.  That experience became a transformative time in her life, before going into the allied health field, and later starting a family.  She and her husband and 4 children have lived in Winston Salem since 1997, during which time she has remained involved with people from many other countries and cultures.  Over the last several years, Anna developed and directed a program for international high school students and collaborated with Wake Forest University on global relationships projects. She is passionate about sharing life with internationals and excited to continue work with Bridges International.  In Anna’s free time she enjoys being with family and friends, spending time outdoors/taking walks or hikes, going on trips, studying the Bible, and reading.
